GDP Growth Expectations for 2024

Projections for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in 2024 have been unveiled by various financial institutions and international organizations, providing a comprehensive view of economic expectations. According to the data provided:

  • The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) and the Bank of Mexico (BANXICO) forecast a growth rate of 3.0%.
  • The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects slightly lower growth, with a forecast of 2.7%.
  • The World Bank, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL) all project a growth rate of 2.5%.
 
BBVA, CITI, and Fitch Ratings anticipate GDP growth of 2.5%, 2.4%, and 2.2%, respectively.
These figures provide a broad overview of economic expectations for the coming year, highlighting the importance of closely monitoring economic indicators and government policies to adapt to potential scenarios and opportunities.
